IMM 2024
For the first time in years, the Cologne International Furniture Fair took place in January like it always had. Leolux was there too, with an impressive stand to present our new models to our dealers and the international trade press. This story tells you all about the concept of the stand, the new sofa programme Loya and the revolutionary Pallone series 'Soft Seasons'.
SOFT MASS
The Leolux stand at IMM was a real experience. Art directors Kate and Joel Booy of Studio Truly Truly based their stand design on the principle of 'Soft Mass'; filling out a two-dimensional material such as leather or textiles with volume, creating a tactile softness. The stand was surrounded by light textile curtains that transformed into soft volumes as fans blew gently on them. An enchanting experience, which had everything to do with the new sofa programme Loya that debuted at IMM 2024.
PREMIERE
LOYA
The most striking premiere at the Leolux stand in Cologne was Loya. Designed by Studio Truly Truly, this new sofa programme indulges you with unapolagetic comfort. Generous arm and backrests offer you support and security, while the fine upholstery details and the subtle, slightly recessed platform testify to the refined craftsmanship with which the sofa is made.
REVOLUTION
PALLONE SOFT SEASONS
Pallone showed a totally new side at IMM. For the first time in the 35-year history of this Leolux icon, there is a series with a seat in fabric. In Pallone Soft Seasons, the seat is finished in the new bouclé Robou, giving the chair a uniquely soft look. Studio Truly Truly put together six different combinations, each named after the changing seasons and the transformation from day to night.
Leolux: 90 years
What started as a small furniture factory in 1934 is now showing itself at IMM as an internationally renowned design brand: Leolux will celebrate its 90th anniversary in 2024. Throughout this year, we are giving a lot of attention to our anniversary and the kick-off was already clearly visible at the exhibition stand in Cologne.
Experience the new products soon in Breukelen
Shortly after the fair, Loya and Pallone Soft Seasons will make their appearance at the Leolux Experience Center in Breukelen. And not long after, these products can also be discovered at the Leolux Select Stores and further dealers. We'll keep you posted!
