Structure is just as important as colour in an interior. Varying with texture and feeling creates a certain ambiance and depth. That’s the thinking behind the Frame rug, designed by Studio Truly Truly. The rug comprises three sections, each with its own structure.
The outer section of the rug has a low pile with a beautiful smooth structure. The ‘window’ from which the rug takes its name, is made from a higher pile to create a playful framework, in which the colour emphasises the contrast. And finally, the inner section of the rug is smoother again. The colour is also somewhat more intense than that of the outer section.
