Subtiele geometrische motieven
The Japanese “Sashiko” embroidery technique was originally used to strengthen fabrics. That inspired Edward van Vliet to design a series of exclusive patterned fabrics. He applied subtle geometrical motifs on a base of three colours: Star (on a silver background), Umbrella (dark blue) and Dome (saffron).
He uses these Sashiko motifs on his collection of elegant cushions, amongst other things. For each Sashiko cushion, he selected two matching pastel colours for the back in a soft woven fabric. The same motifs (Star, Umbrella and Dome) are the basis for the Sashiko plaid blankets, woven with identical colour themes. With the natural softness of alpaca wool and cotton.
A plaid blanket hat you can drape over the back of your sofa, or a beautifully finished cushion; Edward van Vliet’s interior accessories give your interior the “finishing touch”.
