In its long design history, Leolux has built unique collections, year on year. The Anton armchair, named after the founder of Leolux, is loosely based on that illustrious heritage. The design alludes to the past and to the hand-crafted quality products with which Leolux made its name.
The seat combines rounded and straight forms and rests on a chromed frame. This creates a luxury reading chair with sturdy arms. The designers’ contemporary arrangement of the sofa elements enables playful colour and fabric combinations.
Anton is a 'new old' product, as designers Kate and Joel Booy of Studio Truly Truly put it. The classic shapes of the 602 model from 1960 have been reinvented in the zeitgeist of today.
As a tribute to Leolux's entrepreneurship and innovative design of the fifties and sixties, Anton is named after Ton Sanders, one of the company founders.
