Gerard Vollenbrock

(The Netherlands, 1949)

Vollenbrock has been a designer of furniture since 1981, as well as a painter and writer. His furniture designs, straightforward and expertly created, are recognisable by their simplicity. Vollenbrock teaches furniture design and interior design at the Art Academy in Groningen. He lives and works in the Netherlands and on the Greek island of Serifos. At the Cologne International Furniture Fair in 2006, Easy Reader was exhibited, a new seating concept from Vollenbrock.
