Cuno Frommherz

(Switzerland, 1963)

This Swiss man, after training as a furniture maker, became a self-taught furniture designer. Frommherz works for various international furniture manufacturers. It’s all about "simplicity", with the designs from Cuno Frommherz! What’s more, in his opinion each design must include an “invention”, a technical idea or detail that gives the design character. The translation of these ideas has led to, for example, the extremely successful How-series, with characteristic rotating headrests.
